How does Siemens v20 inverter realize terminal speed increase and deceleration?

Posted on: 11/13/2021

The setting method is still very simple. The terminal frequency modulation mode of Siemens V20 inverter is related to the selection of two parameters 1P1000 frequency setting value and 2P701 digital input function configuration.

The first parameter is the selection of the frequency source of the V20 inverter. Commonly used are analog, fixed frequency, USS/MODBUS communication on RS485 and related combined control. Here we select parameter 1MOP set value source, where MOP is electric potentiometer It is the same as the function of selecting the potentiometer on our domestic inverter, except that this parameter is not manually adjusted on the inverter panel but realized through the digital input on the terminal.

The second parameter is the configuration of the digital input function, which is the choice of terminal definition. Here we need to realize speed increase and deceleration by closing the terminal. V20’s digital input terminals have four DI1~DI4. If the start-stop control also uses external terminal control, we can use the third and fourth terminals to define it. There are many function definitions. We choose the parameter 13MOP speed increase ( Increase frequency) and 14MOP slow down (decrease frequency). The specific wiring diagram is as follows, terminal 1 and terminal are used to control the operation of the inverter, terminal 3 and terminal 4 are used for frequency adjustment, and DIC is the common terminal to select the power supply according to the NPN and PNP connection methods.

The above is how Siemens v20 realizes terminal speed increase and deceleration. I hope it can help you!
