EBV Elektronik signs franchise deal with Nisshinbo

The result of a merger between Ricoh and New Japan Radio early in 2022, “Japan-based Nisshinbo has been manufacturing electronic, RF and microwave radar products for more than 60 years”, according to EBV. “The company offers op-amps, low-dropout regulators, motor drivers and analogue front-ends.”

It also listed low-noise amplifiers, motion detectors and battery management, audio and video ICs.

The 60 year claim comes from New Japan Radio, which was founded in 1959 as Saitama Japan Radio. Ricoh Electronic Devices was founded in 1981 to make photocopier ICs.
