Hynix takes $2.6bn Q1 loss

“The memory market, which is still under tough conditions, seems to be bottoming out,” said CFO Kim Woohyun.

“We expect revenue to rebound in the second quarter after bottoming out in the first, driven by a gradual increase in sales volume,” said a Hynix company statement.

The company expects the memory market to improve in H2.
