DESCRIPTION
This new VSK series of MAGN-A-PAKs uses high voltagepower diodes in two basic configurations. Thesemiconductors are electrically isolated from the metalbase, allowing common heatsinks and compact assembliesto be built. They can be interconnected to form single phaseor three phase bridges and the single diode module can beused in conjunction with the thyristor modules as afreewheel diode. These modules are intended for generalpurpose applications such as battery chargers, welders andplating equipment and where high voltage and high currentare required (motor drives, etc.)
